We are super excited and very proud to be starting our Females in Judo Initiative (FIJI) program. This program is open to all female members of the club and will be including other female family members too.

The program will include a forum which will allow all females from every class, as well as mothers or female care givers to be able to discuss anything involving what it is to be a female judoka.

Also as part of the program we will be holding frequent female only self-defence and judo classes for female club members, in which their female family members and friends will be welcome to join in.

The FIJI program will be run and managed by Olivia Manning. Olivia is one of our senior female members who joined judo when she was a child. Olivia is currently a 1st Kyu and a director on the board of Judo New Zealand.
